ESO is at it again with new mounts. Unfortunately, they are hidden behind a RNG Crown Crate system. I’ve talked about this before, Crown Crates (Loot crates) SUCK. If you want money for the mounts then just fucking sell them. I won’t purchase crown crates for a chance to unlock these. It’s a shame because I’d probably pick one up if they just let me purchase it straight up.
Regardless, here they are.
So how many crates did you buy tho? lol… but seriously… this practice is a disease in the gaming realm. Many countries are even considering this practise to be considered gambling (which it absolutely is) in terms of their laws. Developers have simply found a way to put content behind a RNG paywall to extract even more money, while at the same time tapping into the primal inner workings of the human psyche to instill addiction at the same time.
There should always be a way to unlock in-game content without having to pay more money imo.

I’m leveling a new char, and got free mount I didn’t have before. It’s one of those stable horses but still free. I got one free Flame crate, that I got shite in, just potions and body markings. I did get a free 30 slot storage container for a home.

Every new mount that comes out is the same animal just re-skinned. This makes me think of CoD, and makes me sick, I refuse to purchase any of them, except my dwarven spider.
It’s really a forever game. And hard to see everything (although I get side tracked in PvP a lot). I’m about halfway done all the missions (combined on all characters) and they just continually release new content.
I also quest to zone out and take a break from running GRG events. So I’m only hitting PvE on my off nights. Other than SWTOR, questing is easily the best of any MMO I’ve played and I think the stories are up there. They are very well done. It was impossible to go back to WoW after ESO.
