New leak claims fan-favorite Black Ops map arriving in Cold War Season 3

Treyarch could be set to bolster Black Ops Cold War Season 3 with all-new map remakes if a reliable source is to be believed.

A new season of Call of Duty is always exciting as it means that a whole new bundle of content is on the way. It does reach a point where the current maps have been played to death, and the game could do with a fresh lease of life.

This is why this potential leak could be great news for players as not one, but two new maps could be on the way to Cold War Season 3 in the form of Echelon (a new map) and Standoff.

Map remakes have not been uncommon in Black Ops Cold War as we’ve already seen the likes of Raid, Nuketown and Express be included in the game.

It was back in January that a major leak had confirmed the intent to add 8 new map remakes to Cold War throughout its life lifespan. Some of them have indeed been added, and now it looks like we’re set for two more if a Tweet from TheGhostOfMW is accurate.

As with all rumors, they usually originate from somewhere, pretty much from a reliable source. So it’s not crazy for this statement to be true.

Both of these maps would be welcome additions to Cold War.

As with all big rumors of this nature, we recommend you take it with a pinch of salt. But leaks have generally been reliable for the latest Call of Duty game.

Standoff:

I liked Standoff. That’s a good map.
