It’s called the NVIDIA Shield (like that tablet they also made). It runs on Android, has 4k capabilities, streaming, cloud gaming and apps. $199.

There is a glut of consoles this gen. XB1, PS4, WiiU, Various Steam Machines, FireTV - which acts like a console, and now the Shield. Have there ever been this many consoles out in a single generation?

So $200 for a console that plays android games? Is that all it plays? Does it stream games from my pc?

If it just plays android games they get a big fat LOL from me.

I think the Shield handheld and Shield tablet both stream games using NVidia’s gaming experience, so I’d bet this will as well.

This console will be able to play PC game from the cloud and streaming from your own PC. It’ll probably play Android games as well.

Yea I know the tablet does. Their ad just sucks. Doesn’t really tell you much.

The acreenshot if the shield grid shows PC games only. But, yeah, it could benefit from more info.

I also want to know if there will be Steam integration so you can access your friends list and stuff. .
