What is Paladins?

Paladins is a 5v5 competitive multiplayer shooter currently in development by Hi-Rez Studios. The objective of Paladins is to capture a control point that spawns on the map. Once one team has captured this control point a siege engine will spawn, which then must be escorted to the enemy team’s base. To accomplish this goal players pick one of several unique and diverse champions and engage in fast-paced combat with the enemy team.

What sets Paladins apart from other games on the market?

One of the most unique aspects of Paladins is the cards and deckbuilding system. As your champion progresses through the game, you will unlock cards that you can use to bolster their abilities; these can be anything from increased damage to heals upon killing an enemy. These cards can be customized prior to entering a match, allowing you to spec your champion they way you want to play them and meaning every match plays differently.

They have hinted at it coming to “other platforms”. not sure an official statement has been made.

It’s coming to xbox in the spring according to Hi-Rez.

Nice. My youngest loves the game. He’s made a few youtube videos for it now that he’s a “Youtuber livestreamer”.

I’ve had fun with it but I’d still rather play it from my sofa than on my pc.

I just got my early access invite. Any of you interested in grouping up and playing this?

My kid is playing this and really likes it. Even though he says a few of the characters come straight from Overwatch.
