So, I bought the Playstation Eye camera on the Amazon Prime Day sale. Here’s what I’m noticing so far:

  • It allows you do to some of the commands you get with Kinect, only it seems that you have to use longer phrases.
  • It works with ShareFactory, which seems to be similar to Upload Studio on the XB1 (although I believe ShareFactory came first?)

Anything else I should know about this from the PS4 crowd?

Its has nowhere near the functionality of the Kinect on the One, but then again the PS4 was made to be standalone. Hopefully more functionality will be added in the future. Other than using it to livestream it is fairly useless unless you have games like Just Dance 2015 (don’t Judge Me)

yeah besides streaming i dunno what to use it for, one of the reasons i havent bought it.

Klown, you’ll see my rugged good looks whenever I stream with or without the Eye. I use an El Gato card, and a MS cam for my pretty face.

Beautiful face printed onto a NBA2K body is pretty nice. Still not worth it imo though

Johnny will your eye start crying when you don’t use the system after a while?
