It is the best one as far as controls, game play, and things you can do.
I am 20+ hours into my character and I am only a level 11. Bare in mind I have spent most of that building my settlement. Settlements are completely optional. So far the story and side missions have been fun.
If you can still get it, the xbox one version comes with FO3 free which is BC on XboxOne.

I find what really helps if I should go into a building or not is using the perk that show weakness of the enemy in v.a.t.s. This also gives the level of the enemy so you know if they are a higher level then you.
Paul there is a second mission I have found for the Covega plant. It was a pain in the ass the first time through. Went through again at level 25 and flew through the place with no power armor.
Fallout 4 is the first one I’ve played.
I slight learning curve but the longer you play the easier it is to figure things out.

I haven’t been to Diamond City either. I sat on top of a tall building and looked at it with my sniper rifle.
Speaking of sniper rifles, has anyone found a .50 cal sniper or upgraded an existing .308 to .50 cal?

I have found a few by now. I’m using a legendary hunting rifle that shoots explosive rounds
It can’t die but it seems to keep him from being incapacitated as fast. The spiked muzzle also increased his attack damage.
