Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios have announced Project Cars 3, the latest entry into the racing sim franchise which will launch in summer 2020.
The game features over 200 “elite-brand” race and road cars and over 140 global tracks. The Project Cars 3 website also touts that you can now make “each car your own” and players can experience a “new journey” in a “deeply engaging Career mode”. The new Career Mode has been designed to cater to players of all abilities with scalable objectives depending on selected difficulty and various driving assist features.
For the first time in a Project Cars game, cars can now be customised with either preset liveries or custom designs made by the player. Drivers can also be personalised. The game also boasts enhanced AI, 24-hour day and night cycle along with “dynamic all-season and all-weather racing”.
No release date has been given for Project Cars 3 — all we know is that the game is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC in summer 2020. No word has been given on an Xbox Series X or PS5 release.
