Reports of it being insanely OP (in PvP at least) are all over Reddit already.
Don’t spend too much time farming it. Bungie is saying it’s bugged, and will be “fixed” soon.

This is hilarious
I picked it up the first drop and it is crazy in crucible. Had the best games ever with it. Had the most kills of anyone on either team a couple of times. Of course they will nerf it and it will be as useless as the Cold Fusion trace rifle.
Bungie is going to nerf the fuck out of this gun while they attempt to learn how to balance weapons. SMH.
No doubt that will fuck it up for PvE too.
Shame. I enjoyed running through the CoO story with it at least.
