Prototype And Prototype 2 Hit PlayStation 4 And Xbox One In Biohazard Bundle

Activision has published a blog post detailing the release of the Prototype Biohazard Bundle. The bundle, which was made available on Xbox One last night, will hit PlayStation 4 today. According to the blog post, both games have been updated to “feature full HD rendering, improved framerate, and higher resolution textures and effects.” As we reported last night, all of the downloadable content from the games are included in this bundle as well (including “a majority” of the retailer exclusive pre-order DLC). The bundle is currently only available digitally and costs $49.99. Activision has said, however, that the games will be made individually available starting on August 11.

My thoughts:

I couldn’t complete the first one out of boredom and probably something better was out at the time. I never picked up #2. Enough with the remakes already. Am I right?

From what I remember I got bored during the first one as well.

Yes. Enough with the remasters/remakes. Almost 2 years into the gen, and we’re still getting rehashes of 7-8 year old titles.

Although, this remaster will fit in well. Prototype definitely fit the mold of doing the same shit over and over and over and over and…

while i want some EXCLUSIVES to move into next gen since some people that switched consoles missed them… this is a VERY odd game to remaster. Niether were great by any stretch. The first was cool, the second was meh… These aren’t super best sellers… these are typical games that people forgot about. Why waste the resources to bring these, not to mention there was NO advertising so people aren’t even going to know they are there.

Games that earn 9s and 10s on all the sites have the right to be CONSIDERED for a remaster… especially if they were console exclusive… but games like this that didnt push boundries in any area, and ultimately got scores of 6s and 7s… who cares!!
