Possibly as retaliation of what xbox announced about backwards compatibility. Although sony has the streaming service, i dont think its as popular as sony had hope.
A select few PlayStation 2 Classics ported to the PlayStation 3 have been rated by the Pan European Game Information Board for the PlayStation 4, a move that could indicate Sony’s plans to bring these games from its last-gen console to the PS4.
The games that received PS4 ratings are Dark Cloud 2, Ape Escape 2, and Twisted Metal: Black. These ratings were spotted by Gematsu, who also points out that Twisted Metal: Black has been available as a PS2 classic in Europe since September 2012.
If Sony is planning on carrying over its line of PS2 Classics to its current-gen console, we could hear more about it during the Sony press conference in Japan tomorrow
