I pre-order for one reason and that is about to go out the door. For the last five years I have pre-ordered to save money. BestBuy’s Gamer’s Club offered $10 in points for most pre-orders. Add that on top of the 20% off for preorders. Unfortunately they have decided to cancel this program and when your current one runs out it’s over for you. :disappointed:

For example after E3 they did $10 in points for pre-orders on most of the games coming out in 2018 at E3. I pre-ordered Fallout76 Tricentenial Edition, Red Dead Redemption 2 : Special Edition, Forza Horizon 4: Ultimate Edition, Madden 19, and Battlefield V: Deluxe. Between 20% off and $10 in points I saved $130+. After the points hit my account I will have enough to pre-order(full purchase) Spiderman and Days Gone at no cost to my wallet.

The only other reason I would pre-order is for early access. Pre-order bonuses aren’t worth a damn and I don’t need to pre-load. So are they worth it? Yes as long as Gamer’s Club exist. Once it’s gone I doubt I will.

I thought the episode was fine other than the rant. That was mean and really hurt my feelings. I cried myself to sleep.

I preorder only when there’s something tangible, like fallout 76. You get access to a beta. If it’s just a free skin or something i lose interest. I’d rather have the challenge of obtaining it otherwise why play the game?

Most of the free shit they give you for pre-ordering gets ignored in 10 minutes anyway. I never see people in game with pre-order skins.
