Publisher Hi-Rez Studios has announced that its third-person shooter Rogue Company has gone free-to-play across all platforms with full cross-play and cross-save support.
In celebration of the game’s free-to-play launch, developer First Watch Games has introduced a new Rogue to the roster. “Dahlia is an uncompromising former military officer and one of the most decorated squad leaders in the world. She never hesitates to make difficult decisions on the battlefield and doesn’t care what people think of her - she just wants to get the job done.”
Rogue Company has seen over 2 million players since it dropped into early access in July, making it the most successful game launch in the company’s history. The third-person shooter was previously only available to play if you purchased a “founders pack” from digital storefronts.
Delving into the Rogue Company achievement list, a good chunk of the achievements seem relatively easy to unlock. However, there are a couple that might prove a bit of a challenge. All I do is Win requires winning 100 matches, which could turn out to be quite the grind depending on skill level, and All in the Family asks you to play for 25 hours in a party — an achievement that’s sure to turn a lot of TrueAchievement players away from the game immediately.
Rogue Company is free to play on Xbox One now.
