This is a game I’m always going to come back to every once in awhile. Even if it’s just to do some PVP ship battles.

I jumped in for Hungering Deep and got some cool items. The skeleton throne cosmetics look pretty cool. Ground out some order of souls tonight with some friends list friends. I could possibly be coerced into making an attempt on the throne content after I get some sleep. However I have been enjoying Jurassic World Evolution quite a bit.

Cursed Sails (July) will bring the two masted three man brigatine. Cursed cannon balls that can force a ship to drop its anchor or make the crew drunk. You can loot that ammo from ships helmed by skeletons.
Forsaken Shores (Sept) expands the map with a new area riddled by volcanoes and gives us row boats to launch and putter around in.

Played some Sea of Thieves Cursed Sails over the weekend with two separate groups of friends. First group found a broken server where the skeletons wouldn’t spawn so the skeleton ships had no crew. We farmed that for 7 full wave cycles, 3 in one area, 4 in another. The images are from the 4 full wave haul. Finally got my 20 chests on one boat achievement.

Later I jumped on with other friends that had a 2 sloop and 2 brigatine alliance and farmed them normally. I still need to do the story line to get the sails that actually trigger the battles. Probably try to get an alliance going this weekend. I’ll make a separate post with the details.

New PvP Mode The Arena Coming to Sea of Thieves
If you and your crew often rule the dangerous waters of Sea of Thieves, then you won’t have much trouble with making short work of others in the upcoming content update from Rare. ‘The Arena’ is an all-new PvP-based mode coming to the game which invites crews to square off against each other in intense battles to see who can survive and collect the most treasure. This new mode is meant to invite the more PvP-focused players into their own lobby for faster action without the downtime that not everyone likes in the game’s main mode. The new game mode will be coming to Sea of Thieves in Early 2019. Fans of the game will need to stay tuned to Xbox tomorrow as more will be revealed on the soon-to-be-released Shrouded Spoils update that will be hitting the game at some point this month.
