New Raid in Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded
Another Raid arrives in Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded, reuniting Price, Gaz, and Farah to continue the post-campaign storyline established by Season 1’s Atomgrad.
It’ll be up to you to guide Captain Price, Farah, and Gaz “at the base of a ballistic missile.”
Their mission is to “identify and acquire the attached payload.” However, it won’t be so simple as they “will need to navigate this intricate facility littered with traps.”
Players will earn the Bad Boonie Operator Skin for Captain Price for completing the Modern Warfare 2 Raid Episode 2.
“As part of the Season 02 Reloaded update, anyone who owns Modern Warfare II will be able to access Raid Episode 1 and Raid Episode 2. There is no Raid Assignment required for access to this tactical team-based experience that continues the story of Task Force 141.
New multiplayer map in MW2 Season 2 Reloaded
Season 2 Reloaded’s Himmelmatt Expo has fans excited for the new map.
After serious backlash to there only being two 6v6 maps in Season 2, Infinity Ward confirmed that the brand-new multiplayer map called Himmelmatt Expo will arrive with Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded.
This “gorgeous” new map takes place at a resort in a snowy, mountainous region, and the devs confirmed that they’ve “decided to move the map up, as it’s already play testing well and tracking ahead of schedule.”
Modern Warfare 2 players will soon have the opportunity to “tromp through the snowy streets, past the saunas and pool, and go for a drink — or better yet, a solid vantage point — in the Restaurant & Bar.”
Tempus Torrent in Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded
The Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle is Season 2 Reloaded’s new weapon.
Four new weapons have arrived with Modern Warfare 2 Season 2’s launch, and the Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle arrives with Season 2 Reloaded.
The ISO Hemlock, KV Broadside, and Dual Kodachis arrived in the Battle Pass and the Crossbow is unlocked as part of the Path of the Ronin event, but we expect the Tempus Torrent to be available through a challenge or Store bundle.
According to the devs, “this weapon offers impressive damage and a fast-firing mechanism, making it a great Primary Weapon choice.”
To unlock the Tempus Torrent following the Season 2 Reloaded update, players will need to get 25 Double Kills with Marksman Rifles. The Tempus Torrent will also be available for purchase via a store bundle.
TMNT crossover in Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded
TMNT’s Shredder will enter the battlefield in Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded
The Call of Duty account confirmed a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover for Season 2 Reloaded, with the devs showing off an upcoming Shredder Operator.
The collaboration will arrive on March 21, roughly one week after we expect the Season 2 Reloaded update to arrive. Stay tuned for more details about the next CoD’s next major crossover.
Modes coming in Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded
Three new modes will be arriving with Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded: Drop Zone, All or Nothing, and One in the Chamber.
Drop Zone is a Modern Warfare 3 mode that adds even more chaos to Hardpoint by dropping Care Packages into the occupied zones every 15 seconds. All or Nothing only gives players Throwing Knives and a pistol with no ammo, and they can only get more ammo by eliminating opponents.
One in the Chamber is the classic free-for-all Party Game where each player has one bullet in their weapon that replenishes if they get a kill. Each player only has three lives, so you’ll need to be accurate to win.
One-shot Sniper mode in Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded
One-shot Sniper Rifles could also be making their way to Al Mazrah in Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded, although it comes with a significant catch. The devs have confirmed that the feature will arrive during Season 2 but as part of a separate playlist.
Sniper Rifles haven’t had the ability to down players with a single headshot since Warzone 2 launched, and fans have been calling for a change to make the weapon category more viable.
Sadly, the devs have confirmed that are currently no plans to introduce the mechanic into regular battle royale or Resurgence modes, but players can still look forward to the new one-shot mode.
It’s worth keeping in mind that the mid-season update hasn’t been confirmed as the release date for this new mode, but the devs did say it would be later in Season 2, which usually hints at the Reloaded update.
Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded KV Broadside nerf
Warzone 2 players can breathe a collective sigh of relief as the devs promised to nerf the overpowered KV Broadside Shotgun.
Since the start of Season 2, players have been begging for nerfs to the broken KV Broadside and its Dragon Breath ammunition. The KV Broadside Shotgun will have its damage nerfed when the Season 2 Reloaded update goes live on March 15.
Additional weapon buffs and nerfs are sure to come with the update so we’ll keep you posted on all of the changes in Season 2 Reloaded.
Warzone 2 devs to remove Bomb Drone in Season 2 Reloaded
The Warzone 2 Bomb Drone Killstreak will be removed from the battle royale following the Season 2 Reloaded update.
The devs claim that the Bomb Drone’s removal is temporary while they “explore additional balance options for this Killstreak.”
Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded St Patrick’s Day event
Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded will introduce St Patrick’s Day festivities to the battle royale. As you can see in the image above not only will a St Patrick’s Day-themed bundle be available in the store, but Al Mazrah will undergo some changes including green water and plenty of rainbows.
