Caught the first episode. Not bad, has promise. I liked the movie, this however is going in a bit of a diffrent direction.

We watched the first episode as well with simliar reaction. I haven’t seen the movie however, so the whole setup is new to me. Worth watching now, or wait until after the series’ first season plays out (at least)?
you could go either way. The basic premise is the same, but the role the characters play is diffrent to better suit a series.
