If you want to upgrade your previous weapons and armor you’ll need this ascending shard. How long will it take before they become obsolete and you are stuck with 100s of them? Unless you can sell it or trade it for something else…
Do we want to upgrade our old gear or grab the shiny new stuff that we can re roll and upgrade them? I commend them for having a way to upgrade the legacy stuff if we want but I will be looking for the new stuff. Nice for exotics though, not having to dink around with Xur.
Several VOG weapons worth keeping. A few Crota as well. I look forward to upgrading Vision of confluence.

I just want shards to drop in PvP so.I don’t have to run the same two raids a million times To upgrade my damm weapons.
