After a wave of negativity towards its live service elements, Warner Bros. has reportedly delayed the launch of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League until later this year.
Multiple sources have claimed that Warner Bros. has delayed Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which was supposed to launch on May 26th for Xbox Series X|S, but could now release as late as Q4 2023.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League reportedly delayed again
Both Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier and Windows Central’s Jez Corden have reported that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed, with Corden saying that the new launch date could be set as late as Q4 2023. Warner Bros. is yet to confirm the delay, and neither of the reports gives us an idea as to why the delay could be implemented but the recent negativity surrounding the game’s live service elements could be a good indicator.
The antihero-focused third-person shooter from Batman: Arkham Knight developer Rocksteady recently appeared during a PlayStation State of Play, revealing the game’s post-launch content] plans and an extended gameplay trailer. The appearance confirmed that a “cosmetic-only” Battle Pass system will be present and new missions and earnable characters will be added over time for free.
