Alright, what did everyone do? what did ya think? pictures of food??
I was planning on having a small party but friday night/saturday morning i had to the my dog to the emergency vet. screwed up my plans and prep for sunday, more on that when she comes home.
So i went to the grocery store, bought a 3 foot sandwich, some wings from the bakery, beer, and headed to My dad place. was kinda nice to hear the game for once. see all the commercials as they play.
as for the game. it was a good game, although it went by really quick without any penalties. and didnt seem like there were many big plays. couple big passes but i dont recall any 40 yard runs or anything. Halftime show was Ok. not a perry fan but it was a decent performance. i thought Kravitz was useless. Missy Elliot showing up outta no where was a surprise. wonder if she is planning a come back.
I’m sad the Pats won. I’m a dolphins fan. Seattle was so close… why didnt they give lynch the ball??
The game was great, one of the best Superbowls I’ve seen. Came down to the last seconds. So crazy too. Patriots score and you think they lock it up. Then Seahawks get that fluke of a catch and you think they’re going to win. NOPE. Bad pass and the Pats get it back. That back and forth in under 2 minutes was crazy.
Now the rest of it, meh. I’m not sure what sucked worse, Perry’s halftime show or the commercials. How many fucking downer commercials could they show? That 911 call? That boy that died from an accident? WTF?
Because of the snow today my wife had to travel a day early. Kids went to a youth party for the first half so I sat alone drinking and eating absolute crap. I call that a win.
Weird that Madden 15 got the score right but even in Madden you would run Lynch at the 1.
We just stayed at home and all watched it. As for food, we had “party food” Chips, dip, Nachos. I found Superpretzel Hotdogs (which were great). I also made wings. The big treat for the kids is they get to eat in front of the TV, which the wife never allows. She’s a firm believer of eating together at the table.

My dad would ask for a divorce. I can’t think of a meal that was eaten in my parents house that wasn’t in front of the tv. Good times.
Not running the ball on 2nd and goal from the 1 when you have Lynch is the dumbest call in Super Bowl history.
Nationwide should be banned from ever having a commercial on the Super Bowl, or anything of any substance, again.

Fuck Roger Goodell. Thanks to his need to throw PSAs at us since they can’t do anything about their players being abusive assholes, we have to endure commercials that may have spun me into depression.
I really only cared about eating foods that were horrible for me, since my wife and I are starting a diet today.
