Paradox announced a new city building strategy game where you build on Mars. Slated for release in 2018 on PC.

I hope more happens than in Banished, I got bored of that game in about 10 minutes.
Well this game is done by Paradox which has a lot more details to their games. They also do Cities: Skylines so I would look at that game more for comparison purposes.
