The Division 2 Free Post-Launch Content and Year One Details

Over the past few months leading up to its release, Ubisoft has put emphasis on providing continuous support for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 in the form of free post-launch content. This content has just been outlined in a new trailer and screenshots that detail the Year One plans for the game.

The Division 2 will have three major content updates, titled “Episodes,” that will release in the summer, fall, and winter of this year. The Episodes will contain new story missions, PvP and PvE modes, and new specializations that come with unique skill trees and signature weapons. Even though all of this DLC will be free, those who choose to purchase the Year One Pass will gain early access to the Episodes seven days before they are released. Pass owners will also receive eight “classified assignments,” extra base of operations projects, more bounty targets, and special customization items

Episode One contains a new game mode and two more main missions that take place on the outskirts of Washington, D.C. Episode Two will bring players to the Pentagon for a new narrative experience, complete with additional main missions. Not much informations was given for Episode Three, but it will close the first chapter of the game’s storyline before the arrival of even more content.

The Division 2 open beta takes place from March 1st to March 4th, and the full game will launch on March 15th.
