The Division 2 update allows for 4K 60fps on Xbox Series X|S

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is receiving a patch that will bring both 4K resolution at 60 fps on Xbox Series X|S.

Wccftech reports that developer Ubisoft Massive confirmed that the updates would be arriving during the most recent State of the Game Twitch stream for the game. These improvements are set to arrive with Title Update 12.1, which is scheduled for arrival on February 2, 2021.

Next week, Ubisoft will put out Title Update 12, and it will come packing new Summit Challenges, the Optimization Station, improvements to the Summit, new gear, the Global Event Shop, and additional other improvements.

Ubisoft Massive stated that the new improvements wouldn’t come in the form of an optimization patch. It will allow for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S to run The Division 2 in 4K resolution at 60 fps. Right now, The Division 2 is running off of title update 11, which made its debut back in September.

I always wanted to like The Division 2 but lost interest quickly. Just not as good as Division 1. Hell, I even preferred the snowy landscape in 1.
