I like gadgets, what did you get?

Blue snowball mic, has pretty good reviews and the small test I did on my computer it sounded pretty good. Just need to test out over discord or whatever is decided to be used in recording. Got a cheap wireless headset for incoming audio for me that I’ve had and was able to make it work. Might get a better one so.etime but the mic was the important thing to me

A lot of the guys have Blue Snowballs, they are good for streaming and what not. It’ll be fine for Discord.

And if you want to get real nerdy, you’ll look at a mic scissor arm. lol.

Having my mic off my desk made such a huge impact. Totally worth the $12 or whatever I paid for it

so far my tests have been good and i got splendid khaos in voice chat and he said it sounded great as well so i think im good. ya i may get a stand eventually but not yet

lol, so funny. But the nice thing is you can get the mic closer to you. You want it a few inches from your face. If it’s loud then just turn down the gain (or input volume) which will also cut down on any background noise.

I have spent way too much time learning about audio, audio equipment and editing.
