Here is the link to the Astroneer server @Nanookbjorn has set up.
I am thinking of paying for a dedicated server for Astroneer. I am waiting for an answer on the Nitrado forums if it will allow crossplay between Xbox and Windows / Steam.
The only option for user base is 8 players. There has recently been an update to add Automation into the game and after reading the patch notes it looks pretty interesting. Put resources in one end and get refined materials and printed tech out of the other end with minimal managing, at least once it is setup.
How many people are interested and what platforms do you play on?

only thing I can think of is that most of the development staff just don’t have the hardware they do at the office needed to do the work at home. The high-end heavy graphics processor machines to render the code. Its not like they are coding on some Dell Laptop.
I would imagine the graphic designers need special equipment as well.
