Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege Operator Cost Changes

The first major content that kicks off the start of Season 3 in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is now available to players. Operation Chimera brings along two new operators and, for the first time, a new co-op event: Outbreak. Alongside the content comes changes to the cost of operators and attachments to make it easier for new players to progress in the game.

All 20 of the game’s original Operators, as well as the attachments for every operator ever released, are now accessible to players for free. Regardless of whether you own the Advanced, Gold, Complete or just the standard edition of the title, the Renown costs of the Operators and attachments has been removed.

Operation Chimera begins with two Elite members of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Threat Unit: Lion and Finka. Meanwhile, the Outbreak game mode pits three players against a mysterious infestation in a quarantined town in New Mexico. Take a look at the new content in the launch trailer below:

Operation Chimera has already begun, and all of the changes listed above are currently active in the game.

Anyone considering a discord channel for it, or a time to potentially play?

I play on PS4, and would love to jump in tonight, if I can get my kids to sleep.

I have it on PC and Xbox, too bad.
