Ubisoft is raising the price of Rainbow Six Siege

The Standard Edition will be replaced by a new “Advanced Edition” which includes more, but also costs $20 more. In kind, the “Gold” edition of the game, which includes the most recent year of DLC operators, will cost $90, rather than its present $70. The Gold Edition will also include 10 of the new Outbreak Collection Packs and in-game currency. And finally, the Complete Edition of Siege will run $130.

I’m torn.

In part I never want the cost of a game to rise (let’s ignore the EA side of things for a moment).

However, having 10 different editions of a game also seems slightly absurd.

This may be a kick in the nuts to some.

I was thinking about going back to play this game too since Wildlands now has loot boxes

What the what.

Yup. And no way to earn them in game. I quit.

Supposedly only cosmetic differences.
All non-cosmetics will also be available in game.

I suppose you could gain weapons from them before you earned them in game.

This is the stuff that’s turned me off new games. Wildlands was one of the few that hadn’t gone that route. I’m so sick of it. Now Siege with their B.S. editions. It seriously infuriates me

I remember the days of a bog standard game at a RRP of £40 that would actually let you play the whole of the content…How times have changed lol

But @Lala_Calamari and I were told this game is “tacticowl”
