You can try out Watch Dogs: Legion with a free trial of the single-player campaign and the online mode this weekend.
The free trial runs from March 25th to the 29th. You can check out the campaign, online mode, and open-world activities, and explore four of the eight boroughs available in the full game. If you then decide to buy Legion, your progress will carry across. The Standard and Ultimate editions will be available for 50% off until the 15th of April. Although the free trial is available to pre-download for Playstation players now, Xbox players will only be able to access the trial on the day it goes live.
“Every character in near-future London will be available to recruit and play as during the Free Trial Weekend in both single-player and online modes,” Ubisoft says. “Players will be able to check out all of the open-world activities such as playing darts at the local pub and participating in bareknuckle fights, as well as explore half of the eight boroughs including the City of London and Islington & Hackney. Additionally, players will be able to discover the game’s storyline up to the Skye Larsen mission.” If you do buy the game, you will also get access to two new PvP modes in May. If you own the Season Pass, you’ll also get a new mission in April, a new storyline in June, and Darcy as a new playable character in August.
The free trial starts on Thursday, March 25th at 4 pm UTC / 12pm EDT / 9am, PDT, 5pm CET and ends on Monday, March 29th at 2 pm UTC, 10am EDT, 7am PDT, 3pm CET.
