Gonna try and upgrade my laptop soon.
mine has been running smooth with the in place upgrade. don’t think I will reformat unless I see issues. to much of a pita.
Saw that people staying on the insider program will be seeing a version of Edge that supports extensions soon. They’re rolling out builds to preview stuff coming in October soon.
Yeah extension support is coming with sp1. Due out in Aug. Can’t remeber is that was insider or everyone.
The article I read sounded like Insiders would get the SP in August, and the general public would get it in October.
I guess I need to use the link up above to get the download. I have the white Win 10 icon on my tray but there’s no links to start the upgrade.
I reserved my upgrade yesterday, how long does it take before you install? Patience is not a strong suit of mine

Yeah, I haven’t figured out what their process is to determine when you get the notification you can upload. I got the upload on my surface at midnight on release day, but nothing else has received the update unless I manually did it from the link above.

Will I be able to “Upgrade” my Father in Law’s new PC? Will I have to install Win 7 / Win 8 then run an upgrade? Or can I get an installable ISO and just install Win 10 from scratch?
I have valid Window’s Keys.
You have to load Win 7 or 8/8.1 then upgrade. After you have completed that, a license will be tied to the hardware, so you can do a reinstall from scratch after that.
