I never played the first Destiny…I’m looking to get the game but want to know if it is worth the buy
It’s worth it. Story is a bit wonky but it’s got good end game value. Personally I think the pvp is some of the best around. It’s not nearly as twitch as a COD. Yes D1 was better but they’re fixing D2. Some of the best GRG nights involved Destiny. Nothing better than having @Lala_Calamari go full tomatoe on his fellow grg because we got stomped on pvp.

I think the majority of us play on console. Most on the Xbox but I’m sure there are guys who play ok ps4 and pc. I can’t speak for the ps4 and pc guys but the Xbox guys are great to play with. They’ve got no problem carrying guys to get their levels up etc. Always a great time even if you’re having a bad night and just out right sucking. They might bust you’re stones but it’s all in good fun and they’ll make you feel welcome.
I think I’m going to work on getting it on the xbox and get a mic because mine broke when it made me rage
yeah worth it…and you can get it extremely cheap used at a game store.

Full disclosure I’m a fanboy of d2. That said I think even ppl that end up walking away from the game after playing the content will say the game has great value…I’ve payed much more for elder scrolls than destiny and I have over 500 hours in d2 and I’m still playing

@valiantvictory is right. People who leave come back. I’m one of them. I liked D1 for the pvp and D2 pvp couldn’t keep me interested after the story. It’s gotten a lot better and I find myself on the grind again. If I had weekends off I’d get involved in raid nights but right now that’s not happening. No need for a mike. @Lala_Calamari hates it when people call out stuff and play up to his mlg level. Joking a mike is good to have.
D1 > D2
Still played D2 from launch right up to max light cap.
Not played the DLC quite as much, certainly not as much as I played D1 DLC anyway.
I just remembered that I did play maybe an hour of D1 and am excited to start playing

Digital game + season pass is $53 on xbox store. Not a bad price

now after playing for a whole 2 days…I would say this is one of the best expansions Bungie has put out…not as good as TTK…but I think better than ROI but close…and certainly better the Dark below and house of wolves…maybe I’ll update again in a week or 2
