Our favorite wormy faced guy is back. Xur is located onNessus in the Watcher’s Grove.

This week he brings the Merciless Exotic Fusion Rifle for 29 Legendary Shards.

This seems to be the preferred Raid Fusion rifle.

Conserve Momentum
Non-lethal hits with projectiles make this weapon charge faster until its wielder gets a kill.

He is selling armor for 23 Legendary Shards.

Honestly a little let down with what he is offering… I will pick up Doom fang but I expected something great for his first week like in Destiny 1.

I just always tell myself it’s RNG.
Having said that, I thought he would offer something else alongside the usual 4 exotic options.

I’m a little disappointed also, I already have that damn gun.

Well, me too - but I don’t have two of the armour pieces and I’m not overflowing with shards.

I already have the Wings Of Sacred Dawn.

Nice when the melee assholes rush you. Just hover and take them out.

Watch the above video for a quick review of Xur’s inventory this week, which consists of the following:

  • The Wardcliff Coil, rocket launcher: 29 Legendary Shards
  • Foetracer, Hunter helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
  • ACD/0 Feedback Fence, Titan gauntlets: 23 Legendary Shards
  • Sunbracers, Warlock gauntlets: 23 Legendary Shards

Each of the items comes at a maximum power level of 270 — a base power of 265, plus a Legendary (purple) mod that raises the value by five. This scales to your player’s power level, so make sure you’re buying Xur exotics on your highest level character.

If you’re a Hunter, we can’t recommend Foetracer enough. It is arguably one of the best Crucible exotics in the game, letting you track players around corners and through walls after damaging them. For other classes, the gloves are OK, but you may have more fun with The Wardcliff Coil, which launches a wildly inaccurate volley of rockets.
