I have times of ESO fatigue, this is one of them. I think the only thing fun to me now is GRG pvp on occasion. I’m putting it on back burner for while.

Crown crate drop rates as reported by players

Today is the day we should be receiving our crates for logging in last week. Anybody get anything good? I have to wait until after work.

Edit: opened mine on lunch. A costume. A hat and other shit I sold for gems.

I too received jack shit. If this was a marketing ploy to make me want to buy crates, it failed miserably.

As an aside, why are they called crates? Because they are really cards.

I got some armor costume, a shitty hat and a monocle. I did get a horse wang upgrade, 1 speed point. :roll_eyes:

Put the cool mounts and shit on the cash shop. I will buy them. I will not buy a CHANCE to win an item. Especially when I know the odds are stacked against me and even if I do get a mount it probably won’t be the one I want.

It’s a shame they resort to this. Fuck, I pay them for a sub. Give me that shit with the crowns I’m earning.

ENJOY THE SPOILS OF WAR

Bonus Alliance Points and a new hat are not the only rewards you can receive during this event. As you earn praise on the battlefield, you will also receive Pelinal’s Midyear Boon Boxes along with your standard Rewards for the Worthy items. These special event reward boxes will contain Tel Var Stones and give you a chance to receive one of the following rewards:

  • Alchemy reagents
  • PvP consumables such as repair kits, forward camps, and siege weapons
  • Motif pages for your Alliance and Akaviri
  • Style items for your Alliance
  • Akaviri style items
  • Coldharbour siege weapons
  • Prismatic Runestones
  • Books of Pelinal housing items

There’s still more! During the weekends of the event, the merchant Adhazabi Aba-daro (also known as “The Golden") will offer all of the Legendary-quality jewelry that can usually only be earned via the Alliance War! You can find Adhazabi in the Western Elsweyr Gate, Northern High Rock Gate, or Southern Morrowind Gate once you enter Cyrodiil.

The Coldharbor seige is NASTY. I’d love to get some (I think they drop from Cyrodiil Dolmens). They are so much more powerful than standard seige and completely worth the siege repair kits.

I also wouldn’t mind some decent legendary jewelry for my main. Would need a fuckton of AP though. I wish AP was account bound.

Prepare for battle! Celebrate the legendary hero Pelinal Whitestrake and his victory at the Bridge of Heldon by taking part in our first Midyear Mayhem PvP event and earning the Midyear Victor’s Laurel Wreath collectible hat. It is said that those who wear the Midyear Laurel feel themselves infused with the holy rage of the spirit of Pelinal himself! To learn how you can get your own Laurel Wreath while earning double Alliance Points, PvP gear, and rare crafting items, read on!

WIN GLORY ON THE BATTLEFIELD

Ready for action? This glorious new event featuring brand new rewards tailored for PvP players begins on July 20 at 10am EDT and ends on July 31st at 10am EDT.

To take part in the festivities and win honor on the field of battle, follow the steps below:

Navigate to the Crown Store to acquire and activate a ticket entitled “Details on the Midyear Mayhem"
Travel to your Alliance War faction’s main gate in Cyrodiil using the Alliance War menu
Find the quest giver “Predicant Maera" and pick up the quest “Midyear Mayhem"
Complete the quest to receive your Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity and a Pelinal’s Midyear Boon Box
Activate the scroll to enjoy a two-hour, 100% bonus to Alliance Points earned in the following PvP game modes (Duels excluded):
Alliance War (Cyrodiil)
Imperial City (Imperial City DLC game pack is required)
Battlegrounds (ESO: Morrowind is required)

The Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity will remain in your inventory after use, allowing you to re-use it for the entirety of the event. Get out there and earn some AP!

SEIZE A NEW COLLECTIBLE CROWN

As you participate in PvP activities (excluding Duels) during the event, you can earn a new collectible hat: the Midyear Victor’s Laurel Wreath. Wear this golden laurel proudly, and let it be known that you are a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield!

To show off your prowess and style with this unique collectible, unlock the “Star-Made Knight" achievement by completing each of the seven unique Midyear Mayhem event achievements. Check your Journal for details!

Note that some achievements will require the Imperial City DLC game pack and the ESO: Morrowind Chapter to complete.

In the first weekend of the event you can use Alliance points to purchase necklaces, and in the second, to purchase rings. During the event, Adhazabi Aba-daro will not accept gold as payment for these items, so put those additional Alliance Points to good use!

Finally, from July 27th until July 31st, you can pick up the Midyear Mayhem Crowns bundle in the Crown Store. This bundle includes three Imperial crowns celebrating the Midyear Mayhem event: the Circlet, the Coronet, and the Diadem.

Sounds like a 2 hour Double XP event. If only they were more of these for those of us that use to like to “Prestige”. After trying to do that in this game I lost my taste for it forever.

You get a reusable double xp scroll. Able to reuse during the event. This broke the grouping tool though. Players haven’t been able to group together to complete achievements in PvP

Really wanted to work on the 50s and gain some Champion points as well. I’m about half done.

There use to be about 8 different campaigns, now there are 4 total.
