Anyone playing this tomorrow when it comes out?
I’d love to but I think I won’t have time until later in the week, maybe even weekend until I can play. Get that booty!!!
Thursday night is the earliest I can play.
For those of you who have Game Pass, did it let you download the game before release? It of course let me download it in advance once I preordered it.
Didn’t try, didn’t expect it to be available.
No. It wouldn’t show up in Game Pass until the release time. In order to download it before the release time you would have to change the region of your xbox to a region that already had a release.
If anyone was wondering if the Game Pass version is play anywhere, it is. I am downloading it now on PC.

Pro tip when creating your toon…
The character creator is random. There will be 6 pirates each time you hit the create pirates button. You can then save your favorite ones and it will hold them in place and randomize the others. This way you can save a few of your favorites before making your final selection.

Learned a few things. Gold dipped skeletons are vulnerable to guns when you get them in the water. Vine covered skeletons are best fought on dry land, potentially stronger in the water. Black ones might be stronger at night. Found a message in a bottle for souls mission where we encountered all four types of skeleton. Three captains were black. They fought hard. Ran out of bananas. Took us probably 30 minutes to kill all of the skeletons. But it payed well. 2,100 gold total for the three skulls. Took my order of souls rep from halfway through level 2 to over level 5! Time to hit the hammock.
