My top 3 beginner weapons for starting out
1 Hex
2 Soma
3 Drakgoon
Not quite at Hex/Drakgoon level yet, a while off Soma too.
Might get the Hex once I hit MR4.
Definitely get it, I still have mine and use it regularly especially for the Sortie missions the weapon is a beast if you mod it correctly
Once you hit MR2 try to get ur hands on the Atterax. Great melee weapon mod for damage and crit
I started with a bow and purchased an auto rifle to put a higher output of rounds down range. Mainly I find myself sticking to melee though. I just power through missions hammering people with my bo.
Ok, I re-downloaded and finally finished off the pro-logue (???Vor???)⦠Started watching the youtube guides that were posted here. Holy crap this game has gotten intricate. I have to admit this is really interesting and fun. Iāll be around and always looking to co-op⦠I have to admit this game is freaking beautiful and complex for an F2P game. Iām gonna put this on my PC too I think.
Add myself and @quantumklutz we are always on warframe

I have discovered watching those videos and understanding all of the videos are 2 very different things. I am currently hunting mods, exemis, and leveling my skana up to be able to hold 4 modsā¦
I find myself using nothing but my sword and abilities.
I have the option to obtain mastery level 1, but Iām not sure if I should wait untilIhave leveled up my gear some.
See I just use my primary and secondary weapons.
I went for it - seems like there is nothing to lose/gain by waiting.
Iām a Warframe building Machine. Have a Rhino and Frost building at the moment. Rhino should be done tomorrow and the Frost is finishing the components today. Iāll assemble that frame today.
I also broke down and bought one on the Black Friday sale. They had a few for 50% off and I bought a Inarius. Iām not a fan of that. Maybe I need to level it higher, I donāt know. Inarius has a huge amount of health but I canāt figure out how to regen it.
Also broke down and bought the Fire colors because I want to play Warframe Dress up.
I feel like putting money into this game to support the devs is valid given its f2p
I know a warframe by the name of Inaros that only way you could regen health was using a sand attack + drain combo. Iād have to redownload Warframe to confirm it. Yes, I do plan on redownloading overnight tonight.
Here is the bio on inaros @Lala_Calamari and a build
Thatās a void fissure reward. Anything with the word āPrimeā after it is a reward from completing a fissure with a relic.
You ready to go down this rabbit hole now? lol
I was running the Void Fissure events last night, obviously. Iām sure the blueprints and materials are a grind for that frame.
Yeah but thereās platinum to be made from grinding void fissures.
I bought some hard to get mods and parts off players this weekend. Spent about 150 plat and then made it all back selling extra prime parts I had gotten from void rewards.
If you like wheeling and dealing, itās kinda fun to buy and sell shit with players.
I did a lot of it while watching football yesterday.
@Lala_Calamari Now that youāve got a fair bit of time in to Warframe, Iām curious about something.
Do you like the weapon modding mechanic of Warframe or the new one in Destiny 2 better?
While Iām very confused about modding in Warframe at the moment I can say Iād prefer that over Destinyās way of infusing. Warframeās mods will allow you to really customize or create different builds. Very similar to MMOs.
I also wish Destinyās game play was in Warframeās game meaning that Warframe is the game Destiny should be.
I prefer the movement and First person aspect of Destiny over Warframeās third person, seizure inducing game play. Not shitting on Warframe as Iām enjoying it but I prefer that more. That said, Warframe blows Destiny out of the water with content and things to do. All the planets, missions, activites, crafting and all that nonsense. I really like how they added fishing.
Raids? Well Destinyās are a pain in the ass but I hear about the nonsense Warframe has. It seems nuts.
